I realistically couldn’t expect that I wouldn’t have any hiccups since returning back to the hobby. Murphy’s law has taken its hold on the Eurocopter in the paint. Yesterdays application revealed a few thin spots in the paint that will most certainly need to be fixed. While it’s not a total bummer, it wasn’t what I was expecting to see.
Aside from the Eurocopter hullabaloo, it was business as usual on the Hind, Cobra, and Huey. I know I keep talking about final paint with the Hind and Cobra but I believe that with my sanding and primer tonight, I will transition happily to it tomorrow. In other words, all is looking great.
The same can be said about the Huey as well. All the filler from last nights build session was sanded and the helicopter traveled out for some primer. The seams didn’t look too bad so I’m not expecting any pushback.
