The second build to get finished is the Polikarpov I-153. Hasegawa did a superb job with this kit. From start to finish, this aircraft was a joy to put together. There were no issues to hamper any progress other than my own blunders.

Extremely! I can’t imagine it going up against really anything. God bless those brave pilots.

I think that is one of my favorites of all the planes I have seen of yours. Very nice.

You have made a beautiful job of what is a really tiny and fiddly aircraft. Well done! Incidentally, it must have been fun flying with an open cockpit in the Winter War in Finland!

Thank you! Tiny indeed. At least it doesn’t take up a lot of room on the shelf.

Very nice- interesting to see it in a rare Finnish scheme too.
Cheers,
Pete.

Thank you! That’s part of the reason that I built it.

Hehe. The Finns were quite good at capturing Soviet material and then using it against them. I always thought this plane was unusual because you rarely see biplanes with retractable gear. Great job on this one.

Thank you! This one just screams interesting. It looks like a fat seagull sitting there! Makes me want to delve much deeper into the Polikarpov world.

Oh yeah. Lots of schemes for the I-152 as well.

Certainly nothing wrong with that!
