I have to admit that I used to absolutely hate the reconnaissance variant of the Voodoo. It wasn’t until a few weeks before I started this kit that I had a change of heart resulting in this build. I still prefer the non snub-nosed fighter variant but the RF-101 is now welcome anytime on my shelf.
Build wise, this was a pretty painless airplane. It is the older Hasegawa kit which made me a little nervous at first but all went well. The small parts had unwanted flashing but nothing that my hobby knife couldn’t handle. I really can’t remember having too much trouble at all with any part of this kit. This was a fun build through and through.
NICE WORK! If you didn’t think much of the RF’C the quality of model suggests you were able to work past the dislike and built a fine model. 🙂

Very realistic – could see it as part of a diorama…

rarely you get to see one of the Recce birds build as a kit. Nice work on the VooDoo.
