Italeri really put a gem out there with this kit. It has become very rare lately that I actually build one from them. Not by choice, just a matter of the odds I guess. The only issues that I had were in the beginning of the build with the seam in the nose and both intakes. Even that wasn’t such a big deal. Painting the MiG was fun. I do like the standard grey Fulcrum any day of the week but when I saw the camouflage scheme, you know what I had to do. I am very pleased with the turnout and I’d like to try it again in the standard grey scheme.

How do you get the thumbnail images for the related posts? Very nice!

I take all my photographs with my iPhone in a box that I made from foam board. I was tired of unrolling a sheet of white paper every time so I made the box. It’s not suitable for the bigger aircraft so I need to upgrade soon.

I have looked at the Skylark theme and I don’t see any widget that would allow this.

Maybe it’s not a widget then. I haven’t had a chance to look yet. I’ll check later tonight and hopefully I can figure it out.

That is a beauty! I read an article in Air and Space a few months about how those East German MiG-29s wound up flying for NATO. Pretty bizarre.

Nice paint work, scheme looks cool. My work table is clear to finish my Skip Jack build. My sailboat needs the rigging and some detail work and she will be looking good. I am going to try a plastic kit next maybe a car LOL.
