Grumman J2F Duck

Airfix certainly made me look like a fool after this build. Aside from a little lack of detail, this was a great kit. My only real issue was during final assembly. I’m not too sure what went awry but the end supports between the wings are too short. I tried them both possible ways but ended up with the same result. This resulted in adjusting the supports that attach to the fuselage. 

Painting went well using the metalizer for the final color. No peeling. Applying the decals was a cinch with very little to apply. I chose not to weather this build. With the pre-war paint scheme, I wanted to keep it clean and bright. All in all a great experience.
