Avro CF-100 Canuck

The drama that accompanied this build was far from welcomed. Unfortunate events occurred that were beyond my control but the dark cloud that loomed refused to dissipate. The end result is not one that I am extremely proud of. I am very happy to be finished with it, that is for certain. Between the wreck, the gaps, and the paint, I think it turned out better than I had thought it would.

Hobby Craft did a sub par job on this Canuck. I was hopeful in the beginning that I could perform a facelift to make it into a decent kit. The model lacked details and the fact that I chose to make it the bare target tow platform didn’t help much. I can’t win them all and while I am not overly joyed with this build, I learned from it. That is invaluable to me. Somewhere down the line I will remember this build and take a different approach to better results.
