Ater a few day hiatus from building, I started the massive sanding project that the Frogfoot and Canuck builds offered. Both kits were tediously sanded yesterday. I shot a coat of Primer on today and hopefully all will be close to correct.
The Kfir also received its sanding yesterday with success. There was very little to address but now I have the green light to advance on. The next step to attend to will be the wings and intakes. That will be on the list for tonight or tomorrow to take care of.
The couple day break was nice. I wasn’t looking forward to all the sanding that was in front of me so it was good to start refreshed.
What do you use to fill gaps and what grit sandpaper do you use (or do you use a sanding sponge?) Also, which paints do you use?

My filler of choice is Tamiya white filler. For sand paper, I use stick and paper. They are both equally as handy to use. I will usually start with 180 grit to knock down any major unevenness and move to 600 grit to do the rest. After that I will use 1000 grit to remove any scratches on the model. Model Masters is my paint of choice. I do use Testor’s as well as Tamiya too.
